Our geographical area of operation was the Sydney greater metropolitan area. The main tenet of our existence was to offer the most appropriate and cost effective solutions to our clients’ passive fire protection challenges. We pride ourselves on being able to overcome their problems with tested products and systems (AS 1530 Part 4). As we developed, we identified a market need for fire resistant glazing systems. While we still fully service the whole of the passive fire protection market we now specialise in these glazing systems. In December 2005, the company was purchased by Greg Sedman and was restructured to become Sedman Pty. Ltd. trading as Nilfire. We have grown substantially since our beginnings and now operate state wide (NSW) and supply systems into the other states. ProfileNilfire is a contracting company servicing the needs of the passive fire protection market within the building industry. We supply and install a complete range of approved products and systems to meet this need. We have developed Australia’s only complete range of fire resistant glazing systems including:-- One hour integrity only windows-both fixed and auto closing
- Two, three and four hour integrity only fixed windows.
- One, one and a half and two hour integrity and insulation fixed windows
- One hour integrity and insulation glass fire doors, complete with headlights and sidelights.
- Non-combustible roof lights
- Non-combustible skylights.
