DESCRIPTION

The Ventilator Auto closing Fire Window Is a fire resistant window that can be opened and will automatically close in the event of a fire. The frame is constructed from hot rolled steel profiles to provide additional strength and is supplied powder coated to any standard colour or galvanised ready for on site painting. The ventilator has a slim profile to blend with existing windows and is glazed with fire resistant glass.

APPLICATIONS

The Ventilator is designed to provide a one hour -/60/- integrity only fire resistance level to openings in external walls where natural ventilation and light is required.

Opening, auto closing for fresh air ventilation.
Window is made to order, most sizes can be provided.
Combinations of fixed and openable panes are available. -/60/-Fire resistance level.
Suitable for installations into a number of building substrates, including: concrete blocks, brick veneer, cavity brick and concrete panel constructions.

OPITIONAL EXTRAS

Three choices of glass are available

6 mm Georgian wired.
5mm Firelite, standard, polished or obscure ceramic glass.
6mm Pyroswiss Extra clear glass.

HOW TO SPECIFY

Eg, “Window to be fully tested and certified NILFIRE Ventilator -/60/- FRL, fire window incorporating NilfireVentilator non-insulated steel frame and….(insert glass option) with Nilfire ceramic glazing tape and silicone weather seal.

Fixing type 1

M6 Dynabolt into masonry wall at max 600mm centers. Can only be used for site glazed applications. Fixings to 3 sides minimum.
